Microsoft Accounts can have issues with cached credentials this can be checked by:
Open an incognito window or new browser you haven't used before and try signing in there
Check all Office Suite related Apps & your Account has any pending updates completed before destroy alll session details "to the beginning of time", log out and back in again
With multiple profiles you can cause cross session crashing by signing into the same profile using multiple sets of logins. To resolve this you'll need to sign out of all logins under that profiles and start again. It can be a good idea to start on a new profile
Any Microsoft desltop Apps should only be installed via the Microsoft Store
Alternatively if it's not available through the Microsoft Store it will need to be assessed, verified and approved by IT Support and downladed directly from the verified brand and certification & download verified before instillation
